"ITS YOUR TIME" - Selected for 3 Film Festivals

Its Official! This week, KANE's short film "Its Your Time" was premiered at the prestigious and world famous Hollyshorts Film Festival in Los Angeles. In addition, the short film has also been nominated for awards in 2 other Festivals; The Amsterdam International Filmmakers Festival and The Hollywood Dreams Festival in Las Vegas. With nominations in the categories Best Short, Best Cinematography Short, Best Music Video, Best Music & Best Title, we are extremely proud and would like to extend a huge thanks to everyone involved in the project. Most notably, Brendan G. Murphy, Kieran Murphy, Nikki Stegink, Cayley Thompson and Greta Natkaité.

 

 

At the start of this year, KANE became the first Watch Start-up to produce a Hollywood directed short film titled “Its Your Time.” With innovation and constant improvement lying at the core of our “Kaizen” philosophy in everything we do, we wanted to create a cinematic experience that was unlike your regular commercial. We felt that by testing our limits in only our first year of business by producing a short film that reflected the brand alongside Hollywood based Director, Brendan Gabriel Murphy, was the ultimate challenge. After 6 months of persistence we were delighted to officially unveil “Its Your Time” at our New Year Launch Party onboard SupperClub Cruise in Amsterdam. Now, we are beginning to reap the awards of our efforts.

Intertwining the themes of illusion versus reality and set in both 1950’s and modern day Amsterdam, the short film follows an aspiring individual who with his women alongside him and a KANE on his wrist, fights towards reaching his dream. Like our minimalist watch designs, “Its Your Time” depicts just how vital it is to seize the moments that are important to us in order to work towards the best versions of ourselves.
